i make no apologies
i know the world would be a better place
with less fear
this country has been ground into a state of inertia by fear
fear about the repercussions of speaking
out
against the war in iraq
against the government
against the war in lebanon
people fearing to be free in the land of the free
i put a candle on my page on myspace
as a vigil for the victims
i put a requiem on my page on myspace
as a tribute
to the war dead
so if you are you offended by freedom
what are we fighting for?
